Vessel:
Bob 'n Along Bob'n Along is a 1972 Bertram 25, moored at Port Sidney Marina, Sidney, B.C. She was purchased in March 2005 following which she spent 15 months ashore being totally refurbished. She has a ten foot beam and is powered by twin gas 165 Merc cruiser/stern drives/stainless props. She is unique in that she is wheelchair accessible having a port side door and aluminum ramp access. She is equipped with a hydraulic helm seat enabling the captain to transfer from wheelchair and then raised up to 18" to the helm position. The engine compartment lid has been altered to open from bow to stern and fitted with a hydraulic lift assist for ease of access. Additional seating was added to the rear deck by installing two folding swivel seats to the top of the engine compartment.
